Playing God and tackling boundaries

If you want to feel good and worthy about yourself, I suggest taking a walk with Meinhoonmad. In a ten minute walk along a road with average traffic, you can save his life atleast twice. Just keep a eye on him and pull him away from the path of a rushing bus/truck/heavy people in a hurry/light people pushing heavy things with pointed edges.

He won't thank you and might even blame you for his stepping on the stray dog or bumping into the angry lady who slapped him for trying to offend her dignity.

But you'll feel justified about your existence. For Meinhoonmad is the King of the Road, he is Stumblios, he is a walking disaster, an accident waiting to happen, he is the flare up looking for tension to bump into and he doesn't know it.

It's funny how you feel free until you're made aware of your boundaries. A drunkard might walk perfectly straight until you ask him to step on a white line and do it.

And people taking up space irritates you. I am reminded of C-town where we used to ride in a car. There was a lane, narrow with houses built close to the road on both sides and the people used to sit outside. We used to be careful while ashing cigarettes, lest we ash it into someone's house or someone's eye.

Sehwag, or Waggo as I like to call him bailed us out of jail today. Actually he did most of the bailing yesterday. His two allies in the noble quest were Gambhir (Gambo) and Laxman (L-Man). The three of them put together made 296 runs out of India's total of 329. Now discount 12 extras to realise that eight batsmen put together which includes the big three, it makes 21 runs. Eight for 21 is the story of the world's most experienced line up. Compare that to 296/2 that Gambo, Waggo and L-Man made(Waggo was not out on 201). The three managed most of the boundaries in the innings, Waggo 22x4, 4x6, Gambo 8x4, L-Man 4x4 compared to Tendulkar's (Tendo? Karo? Tendliya?) one solitary boundary.

Buck up you fuck ups!
